Almena Fun Days is an annual event in the Village of Almena, WI. 
JOIN US FOR TWO DAYS OF TRACTOR AND TRUCK PULLING, FOOD, BEVERAGES & ENTERTAINMENT!

Attendees can buy raffle tickets for a gun, and there will also be a 50/50 Board.

ALMENA FUN DAYS ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

  • Competition in Farm Stock
  • 4 x 4 Unlimited Farm Ready/Field Ready
  • Improved Farm Stock Turbo
  • Pro Farm (Hot Farm) 
  • Dairyland Garden Tractor Pull
  • Wisconsin State Sanctioned Children’s Pedal Pull
  • Truck pull, with competition in the following 6,200-pound 4 x 4 categories:
    • Improved Stock
    • Prostock
    • Superstock
    • Modified
  • 8,000 pound Limited Prostock Tractor
  • 2.5 Diesel 4 x 4
  • Modified 2-Wheel Drive Trucks.

Carry-ins are not permitted. Many food vendors are on site along with beverage stands located on the grounds.

ALMENA FUN DAYS IS SPONSORED BY THE ALMENA COMMERCIAL CLUB ALONG WITH THE ALMENA-ARLAND-CLINTON FIRE DISTRICT.

This is the third of four planned meetings as well as the 2024 Annual meeting of the Lower Turtle Lake Management District.  Meetings are held in the Almena Town (Township) Hall located at 211 Soo Ave., W., Almena, WI 54805 and begin at 8:00 am.  The elected members of the board will discuss current topics related specifically to the lake itself as well as surrounding areas and properties.  For the Annual meeting discussion the board will provide yearly budget review and basic year in review information.  This is a public meeting and all lake owners as well as other interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Always held the third weekend in August, the Old Time Farm Fest (Moon Lake Threshing Bee) in Western Wisconsin offers weekend fun for the family.  In addition to displays and demonstrations throughout the day, you can…

  • enjoy old-time music
  • shop at the flea market
  • munch on delicious food, including  homemade pies
  • bring the kids for a pedal tractor pull, sawdust pile, and a miniature train ride

We are easy to get to, located 4 miles east of Clayton and 6 miles south of Turtle Lake, across County Road K from Big Moon Lake at GPS coordinates 45° 19′  56″ N   –  92°  06′  27” W. View a map for directions.

Annual Picnic, Auction and Dance
When: Tentative Date Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.
Where: Linda Murray's pole barn on the NE side of the lake

The Lake picnic/silent auction will be Saturday, August 17 at a Linda Murray's red pole shed on the NE side of the lake at the end of 12 3/4 Ave. The time is 4:00. The associated with be supplying chicken, beverages, plates and utensils.
We are also having a bucket raffle.
 
We need help with setting up tables and such the day of, and taking things down at the end of the picnic.

Annual Testicle Festival at Roxie's in Uptown Almena.  Almena Meat Company is serving pork chops on a stick, brats, & burgers with all the fixings.  Nutz served at 5:00 PM.  The first band will be playing at 3:00 PM on the street.
