Lower Turtle Lake Annual Lake Cleanup Day

The LTL District in partnership with the LTL Association is sponsoring the First Annual Lake Cleanup Day on August 11th, 2018.  Planning is still taking place but we anticipate having free hauling services available along various primary roads around the lake so that residents without trailers and/or trucks or the means to get rid of recyclable organics material can do so.  The Association is also potentially looking to offer non alcoholic beverages and/or treats during the event.  Some other activities under consideration along with the organics recycling are a roadside/ditch trash pickup, mowing or trimming where needed and any other items deemed appropriate for the overall health, beauty and vitality of "Our Lake".

We are looking for volunteers with trucks or trailers willing to donate hauling over of the organics materials collected over to the Almena Township Landfill site.
